Adjoa Essentials’ Paradise collection is a limited edition range that embodies the beauty of the natural world and the idea of finding your own heaven on earth. Tapping into the concept of liminal spaces, we find there is something uniquely special about the golden moments where day meets night, and water meets the shore. The magical sound and feeling of waves washing on the beach, creating shimmering, effervescent bubbles under the warm sunlight. In this way, we stay grounded in our inspiration, the rich history of Ghana and its connection to the water. Communities thrive along the coast and rivers as they have for thousands of years. Lagoon was selected to be a part of our collection because it truly represented our brand. The colour palette, the simplicity of the design and the homage it’s paid to African traditions of honouring the humble work of a fisherman. The inspiration behind the design is to be grounded in the natural world, yet elevated to a place of divine serenity. 

Golden was selected as a part of our range for its bold and dazzling print. The pattern represents confidence and the duality and transition of day and night as it can be worn for both. 

The sunrise Haori was specially chosen to represent the physical form of the sun as it greets the day, The copper embellishment represents the luminous glow of the first sunrise and the abundance of the natural world.
