Adjoa and I exchanged ideas about the naming of this Tote, and we both found meaning in the Tote’s representation of water. As you can see, the Tote’s pattern is continuous but flows into different colours. Water holds cultural significance within Ghana also so naming the Tote after the the Volta River was a perfect fit!
